Vaada proposes that there should be no free left turn. When the signal turns red, the vehicles on all the lanes (irrespective of where they want to turn – straight, left or right) should stop and proceed only on the signal turning green. Please look at the demonstration below, which ensures more hassle-free traffic flow.

DOUBLE STOP SIGNALS

Vaada proposes that there should be a stop signal even before the main signal at cross roads.  This ensures more time for vehicles in the front to move. This also eliminates clogging at the single signal point. When experimented Vaada team found that the vehicles travelled faster and smoother.

CROSS GATES FOR MALL ENTRANCES

When the entrances to all the malls and theatres on the main roads are slightly diagonal to the road, the vehicle can move in and out of the entrances without obstructing the vehicular traffic on the main roads. If the entrance to the malls are parallel to the road, moving in and out of the main roads causes severe obstruction.  Please see the demonstration.

Parallel entrances Vs Diagonal entrances

BETTER PEDESTRIAN CROSSING

When the vehicles have no free left, we find that pedestrian crossing becomes much easier. Please look at the demonstration below:

SAFE ZONE

When the stop line for vehicles at cross roads is made a few feet before the actual crossing, there will be a safe zone which can ensure that the traffic in the cross roads moves smoothly.

PARKING ON ROADS (Angular Parking Vs Parallel Parking )

Angular Parking

Parallel Parking

When the vehicles on the roads are parked diagonally there is severe obstruction of vehicles on road, but here is a demonstration of how convenient it is when vehicles are parked parallel with a little gap one, behind the other.
